We are very excited to introduce MAX&Co, the company’s contemporary collection only sold in California and Hawaii, to the east coast. The collection is vibrant and fresh and translates the glamour of MaxMara to a younger group of girls.” –Heide Kennedy

Ferragamo Does Handbags

Shoes, and handbags. The cornerstone to any complete outfit, and Salvatore Ferragamo seems to do both….exceptionally well. This bag is great. While I’m not a fan of the color the cut, and the size screams “Carry-on-tote-for-long-flight”The Salvatore Ferragamo Carlotta Tote can be bought at Saks, and will run you about 35,000. Now I know what your thinking but relax. Its totally worth it, the lining, the detailing, and lets not forget the beautiful skin. I’m thinking about getting myself one. I think this is a beautiful (and more functional) alternative to the Hermes HAC. What do you think?HOT OR CHOP? (in making your decision…try and disregard the price)

Solange: Pushing the Envelope

While I am eager to applaud the new starlet on her rise to fame with her chart topping new album “Sol-Angel”, as well as her style….make no mistake we will refrain from calling it “personal style” as many magazines and fashion blogs the like have been referring to her 70’s heroine look as. I hardly think one can refer to it as “personal” when someone else picks it out for you. However, I applaud the different look, I love a girl who isn’t afraid of color, and from everything from her last couple of music video’s to her red carpet outfit choices…Ms. Solange is taking the world by storm with splashes of neon colors to highlight the new essence and sound of her music.

Back and Far-Far More Fab.

Yes. Its true kids, I’ve been M.I.A for quite sometime. The site has been under MAJOR renovations, but meanwhile, i’ve been traveling, attending the hottest fashion shows and parties, and BABY when I tell you the fashion world is sizzling with juicy tea, new looks and trends I can hardly wait to deliver. So lets jump straight in…shall we?  Interesting news seems to be buzzing these days that Fashion week maybe wrapped. Like DONE. It would be settled for a large amount of videos on the internet. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. I think that takes the whole fun out of the festivities of being seated next to Anna, and Andre, and the Beckhams…or in some of your cases, 3 rows behind J.Lo. I mean this means no parties. No shows. No gift bags (which is my favorite part of it all to be honest). On a brighter note, the SS09 (Summer/Spring ‘09) Viktor & Rolf fashion show was interesting to say the least. Giving us a small glimpse of what fashion week could be like in the future, it was posted on there sight featuring just ONE model. With an intention to save money, and to not piss off guest with seating charts, was I think the main reason the transition is in consideration. Scrapping all the major benefits for the people like me and you who thrive on the excitement.I actually am very interested in hearing what Ms. Viktor & Rolf have to say about this situation seeing as there one of the first to start this….thing.

Erykah Badu For Tom Ford White Patchouli Perfume

Ok so while perusing the pages of Vanity Fair this month I ran into this add and I remember reporting to you guys awhile back about Erykah Badu being the face of Tom Fords new perfume. Well here’s the add and it looks amazing, the lighting, the ad, her pose. I love Erykah, I really do, and this just goes to show how versatile she is in what she does, and what she can do.

What are you guys thinkin?

Louis Vuitton Monogramouflage Speedy

This is the Louis Vuitton’s new creation, seems to be all the rage, as you can see its been highlighted in some of or hottest fashion magazines, and while its been seen on the arms of starlet’s like Rihanna, I happen to think its hideous. Louis Vuittion has taken a very tacky, tacky print, and tried poorly to reinvent it. I think its so stupid, and i wouldn’t be caught dead with or in anything camo…what do you think children?Would You Wear It?

Victoria Beckham makes laughable statement

Ok, So I know you all are probably reading me, but I have been really busy, I was away on vacation. But Honey, I am back, and with more tea for your nerves.
Ready? Here we go,
So we know that celebrities aren’t the most intelligent people in the world, and sometimes don’t take time to think about what they say…before they say it.
Which brings me to Victoria Beckham in her interview for ‘Allure’ magazine. The soccer mom and mother of 3 boys said ‘I’m not the kind of person that stands there and loves the attention.’ She continues: ‘It might look that way, but it makes me very, very nervous.’
Ok, so take a second to process that.
Says the women who poses for cameras at every chance she gets, and shows up to every red carpet and start studded event that has nothing to do with her, spends like a maniac, and writes meaningless books that no one reads. I find this laughable, to be honest. I think its ridiculous. Her and her media hungry husband have been milking the media and the fame since day one, and I don’t believe her statement for a second, and anyone with half a knat’s brain would say the same thing.

Gucci releases Limited Edition Collection For The Olympics

Don’t know about you, but I am very excited about Gucci’s new limited edition collection for the olympics. The fashion gods have also been very generous and made it a “for him” line.  The line designed by Frida herself (Gucci creative director) and is phenomenal.

Francis Andre.com Presents: Francis Andre’s Private Party TurnOut

As most of you may know, I recently hosted an event at a very fab lounge in NYC. Everyone came out to support me and the site. Fabulous drinks, amazing music, and even better crowd, the party was a HIT! Seen below is Cleopatra B. (FrancisAndre.com correspondent) and I posing away for the camera’s.As the night carried on the venue got even more filled, I was amazed at the turn out well over 60 people coming out to support me. I was very happy. A very chic and comfortable lounge in Little Italy, New York a very cozy environment and an amazing atmosphere. Guest showed up in the hottest wear and got to discuss the do’s and don’t of fashion. Some also predicting some of do’s and don’ts of next year, and where fashion seems to be going. With specialized cocktails made and named especially by yours truly. Guest seemed to enjoy the glitz and glamour of the evening…the exclusivity, the lights, the camera, and the action that the event held, seemed to hold up very well with some of New York’s socialites.Hope to see you at my next event,Francis Andre,Style Is Love XO  Photos by Tony Lin, www.hoodi.com
